
On July 30th, 1982, Jeffrey James Binney was successfully conceived and born
(except a minor injury to ma’s tailbone) in Trenton, Missouri to pig farmers Jim and Debra Binney.
Jeffrey began his splendiferous career flamboyantly singing and tap dancing while slopping the hogs in the back woods of Missouri.
After finishing his education at Laredo Elementary and Middle School, Jeffrey began high school at Trenton High School.
While at THS Jeffrey held the coveted position of Science Club Treasurer for 4 years and made a debaucherous stint as show choir dance captain.
While in high school Jeffrey took a summer to study Voice and Piano at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He also studied voice, piano
and trombone privately and spent 3 years as the only 6 ft 3in 300lb boy studying Tap, Jazz and Ballet at Ballet Arts Dance School in Chillicothe, MO.
In 2001 Jeffrey left the soybeans and pig poo to begin working toward his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre Performance at Missouri State University
in Springfield, MO. While at MSU Jeffrey also spent a summer studying at the
London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and a summer performing at both
Tent Theatre and
Timber Lake Playhouse. While in Chicago with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee he spent a year studying Long-Form
Improvisation at the Improv Olympic Theatre .
Currently, Jeffrey is touring the USA and Canada with the First National Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
